This village, Juna Raj, in the middle of Karjan Dam waters in Narmada district of Gujarat was to be submerged under dam waters and villagers were compensated and vacated. However, the water did not make its way to the village. So the villagers returned and settled again here. After many litigations, the case was settled to put the villagers in this village. To reach the village now, you have to either use a boat or climb a forested mountain. The brave can also swim in the crocodile-infested water.
