In a "brutal" attack, two worshippers returning from Sunday service at Quetta's Christian Church were killed. Five others were wounded in the incident, when two assailants on motorbike terrorized the Essa Nagri area of Quetta.
Quetta's Christian community protested the attack by burning cars and bicycle tyres, blocking roads and interrupting the traffic.
Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, Balochistan's Home Minister condemned the attack and expressed grief on the death of two, who lost their lives in the inhumane attack.
Last year in December, nine were killed and over forty were injured in twin suicide bombings in Quetta. Earlier this month in a “targeted attack”, four in a family were gunned down on Easter Monday.
Pakistan has evidently become a battleground for Christian persecution in the recent times.
