The incredible journey of a Coptic priest

Haylesilassie Kahsay, an Ethiopian Coptic priest, ascends a 250m steep cliff daily to pray in the Abuna Yemata Guh, established by St. Abuna Yemata, one of the nine priests who helped in spreading Christianity in Ethiopia in the initial years. The church which has survived for fifteen centuries, has been carved into the cliffside in Tigray, in the mountains of Gheralta.
