Here is a golden statue depicting Our Lady of Vailankanni to whom millions pray for healing – internal and external. This 18 inch statue has been designed with ornate decorations which is the same as the image at Vailankanni.
 

The name Our Lady of Vailankanni was used after Mother Mary appeared with Child Jesus at Vailankanni. The town of Vailankanni is located at Nagapattinam distrcit in Tamilnadu, India.

During the 16th century Mother Mary appeared to a young boy in Vailankanni. The devotion to her has become very popular since then. Millions of devotees visit Vailankanni to ask for Mother Mary’s intercession for healing of their ailments. The largest gatherings are during the novenas held from 29th August each year. The feast is celebrated on 8th September which is also the birthday of Mother Mary.  
 
The statue has elaborate decorations that are embedded onto the golden coloured surface. The total height of the statue is 18 inches. The width is 7 inches and the thickness is 4 inches. It has a sturdy base that ensures that the statue remains stable when placed on an altar or on a table. The material used for creating this statue is polyresin.
