This special gift statue of Our Lady has been encased in a dome and comes at a height of 9 inches. The unique make of this statue makes it ideal for gifting. The material used for creating this statue is polyresin.
Our Lady of Vailankanni, is a title given to the Blessed Virgin Mary, due to her apparition at a place named Vailankanni, in Nagapattinam district, Tamil Nadu, India. In the sixteenth century, it is reported; the Blessed Virgin Mary along with her infant son, Jesus appeared to a little boy at this place. Devotion to Our Lady of Vailankanni, is very popular in this place. It is estimated few lakhs of devotes, from different caste, religion, ndationality, visit this place especially during the novenas held from 29th August, with the feast day culminating on the birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary on 8th September.
